About

Who am I?

My name is Jonathan de Jong, I’m a young guy from Swe­den who is cur­rently resid­ing in Troll­hät­tan. The rea­son I’m liv­ing at that par­tic­u­lar place is because I’m study­ing at the Uni­ver­sity West. I’m going to grad­u­ate with a bach­e­lor degree in infor­mat­ics, more info about what I’m study­ing here. On my spare-time I enjoy play­ing around on my com­puter, watch films and favourite sit­coms and spend­ing time with my friends or girlfriend.

What can I do?

My inter­est for com­put­ers devel­oped around the year of 2006, purely as an enter­tain­ment intru­ment. After a few years of the com­pul­sory Coun­ter­strike etc. I began to use Pho­to­shop and not many years ago I first opened Dreamweaver and cre­ated my first site.

Now I almost daily use Pho­to­shop and webdesign-software, both for school and per­sonal projects. Other soft­ware I use from time to time include Illus­tra­tor CS3/CS4, Inde­sign CS4 & Flash CS3. I’ve been doing some work in 3Ds Max aswell but noth­ing pretty enough to show you.

Am I educated?

I’ve gone to school the way you’re sup­posed to. In col­lege I read pro­gram­ming at Christo­pher Pol­hem in Visby (Got­land, Swe­den). There I learned some C++, Action­script and basi­cally every mathematic-course you can read at that level. After grad­u­at­ing in the sum­mer of 09 I went to Uni­ver­sity West where I am now, in the progress of get­ting an bach­e­lor degree in informatics.
